Small Moments in Weightlifting II

As a photographer, I often capture the most intimate moments in competitions. At first glance, the sport of weightlifting seems pretty basic.  There are two lifts and you have 3 attempts at each lift.  But when it comes to the passion and culture of the sport, it's a bit more complex.

The core of Everyday Lifters is to highlight small moments in weightlifting.  Here are a few for 2017 and I only hope to bring more of these types photos for people to see.  Enjoy, comment share and see you soon!

Almost all weightlifters I speak to will say the same, "Please don't get my lifting face."  This photo here you can clearly see he was giving everything he had into this lift.  There is ABSOLUTELY no look of fear or hesitation.

Every weightlifter should express their victories.

I'd like to highlight the coach in the background.  His face is just as intense as the lifter on the platform.
